The Attarwala family behind Nemat has been involved in the art and science of making attars for over 170 years. Attar is the name given to fragrant oils made from extracts of flowers, herbs, woods etc. The family name 'Attar'+'wala' means “possessor of perfumes”.
The family traces its roots to the beautiful city of lakes, Udaipur, in the state of Rajasthan, India. This is where our forefathers began experimenting and tinkering with the art of attar creation.
Ever since, we have been dedicated to capturing and bottling the emotions of nature through a blend of art and science held together by our heritage.
